Filmmaker dismisses claims '180' was scripted (Story from WND.COM)

World-renowned author and evangelist Ray Comfort of theLiving Watersministry is unfazed by an attack on his pro-life documentary,"180 the movie,"which has gone viral with more than 1.5 million views on YouTube over some six weeks.

A company known as Phantom Video Productions has claimed Comfort used cue cards and actors in his half-hour presentation of eight people who switched their stance from pro-abortion to pro-life just seconds after listening to the facts about the procedure.

PVP's attempt to discredit "180," however, appears to have done little to stifle the pro-life phenomenon, as Living Waters also has sold more than a quarter of a millionof the DVDs and given away nearly 200,000 more.

In an interview with WND, Comfort explained the allegations of cue cards being visible through a reflection in an interviewee's sunglasses are a result of people's "active imaginations."

What Peace do you have?

In light of the Fort Hood terrorist attack I think it appropriate that someone speak some truth in these troubled times. The truth I speak of IS deeply unpopular, in fact I haven't heard anyone say it publicly because you can be killed for saying it. Some of us already know the truth about what I am going to say but many do not or are in denial of it.
First a little background. The truth about the terrorist Mr. Hasan who killed the 13 people in cold blood is that he is a Muslim. The attackers on 911 were also Muslims. The beheadings around the world are done by Muslims. The "pirates" who capture ships, kill and terrorize the crews are not pirates but they are Muslims. Iran's leader, along with other Muslim organizations who have vowed to destroy Israel, are all Muslim. The homicide bombings we hear so often about in Israel and in other countries (coming soon to America) are carried out by Muslims. Mr. Hasan was planning the attack in Texas and wanted to kill Americans. Why you ask? Because he, like the others who do adhere strictly to the commands of the Quran and Muhammad are commanded by his god Allah to do so. If Mr. Hasan is to be a "good" Muslim he must do what he did: kill the infidel (anyone who is not a convert to Islam).
This act was an act of murder and it was orchestrated by none other than Satan himself. Satan uses whatever tactics he can to destroy. The Bible speaks about Satan as a murderer from the beginning... because there is no truth in him. (John 8:44) The god of Islam is not a god of peace as many desperately want us to believe. Ever wonder why so many people in the mainstream continually repeat the falso notion of how peaceful Islam is? Many will go to great lengths to defend the religion of Islam. Meanwhile, people continually murder for "Allah" and Muhammad while Christians get ripped up, blamed, mocked and ridiculed because the hatred for God runs deep.
Only a small number of people know that the closer you adhere to Islam the more violent one becomes and the closer you get to Christ, the more peaceful you will be. This is because Jesus Christ is the only author of true peace. He IS peace. No one can have true peace or be peace filled without faith and trust in Jesus Christ. Jesus said that any who would follow Him would be hated because He was hated first.
Muhammad isn't going to provide peace, Allah isn't going to provide it, nor is any other god of choice going to provide true peace. Sure there are lots of copy-cat peace providers and people claiming they can give you peace but if it's not rooted in the only true peace that the Bible says is beyond understanding, it isn't peace. God calls it idolotry to worship or trust in any other God but Himself. If you're trusting in anyone or anything else for peace or whatever your little heart desires but haven't Jesus Christ, the Maker of the Universe you will not have nor cannot be at peace with God. www.areyougood.us

Badge of Honor

Recently, when jokes rooting for the death of Rush Limbaugh were told by an ungodly, openly lesbian comedian I wasn’t surprised. When the jokes received gleeful applause from a like minded crowd of people I also wasn’t surprised. The jokes glorified and entertained the idea of Rush dying due to kidney failure while another joke toyed with his death as a terrorist hijacker in the Sept. 11th World Trade Center attacks. However, when the jokes were given a thumb’s up approval by the President of the United States Barack Obama I was surprised yet reminded of a few things Mr. Obama stands for and believes.

Mr. Limbaugh is pro-life. Mr. Obama is pro-choice. This means that Mr. Obama supports a woman’s “right” to end the life of “their” child. However in actuality, the child isn’t even the woman’s child at all but a life created by God. The breath of the lives of both the child and mother are in God’s control. This may be the core “problem” for many pro-choicers. These days, it is quite unpopular to say God created anything, let alone a human life, so to believe life is a gift from God and created by and for Him in His image, is truly asking for trouble. That is, trouble from anyone who opposes God, true Christians, Christian living and the support of innocent life.

Gay marriage is also a divisive issue. However, it shouldn’t be a point of contention within the heart of a Christian just as it isn’t in the heart of non-Christians. Simply put, God opposes evil acts of immorality whether one is married or not. Satan rallies behind any person who commit such acts and/or who even think about doing them. Since he opposes God, he and his minions will attack anyone who would seek to expose his wicked schemes (Ephesians 6:11,12). He goes about seeking to destroy anyone standing up for God’s holy standards.

So-called “traditional” marriage between a man and women isn’t right because it is “traditional” or because it happens to be the current legal law of the land. It is only truly right because it is God’s standard for what marriage is. Gay-marriage is immorality that is has been legally approved by the law of the land. So if one can appear to discredit what God says is true whether it be through law or removing visible signs of God’s standard (ie. The Ten Commandments) this will have it‘s supporters who don‘t have a fear of God and oppose Him. We see this happening as immorality and opposition to God and the Bible becomes more acceptable around the country and the world.

God says Christians are to expose evil. (Ephesians 5:11) He also says Christians are not only to expose evil deeds but are not even to take part in crude joking or corrupting conversation (Ephesians 4:29, 5:4) and take part in what is darkness (Ephesians 5). While many non-Christians and God deniers go about their enjoyment of wallowing in the mud of evil practice and opposing God any chance they get, what are Christians doing? (Ephesians 5:15,16) I ask myself, am I staying on offense to expose them or do I go to my own muddy place only to join them? It does sadden me to see the President or anyone for that matter, go deeper into the mud pit of death and sin. But it saddens me more if I find myself or any fellow Christian there. If it saddens a Christian, what must God think?

Ultimately, we must each answer these soul searching questions. Who and what do you desire? Who do you live for? As a Christian it is a badge of honor to be dragged through the mud and be spit on by a sick sin loving world for living and serving a holy, perfect, righteous God. Who do you serve? God or Satan?

Barack Obama: President of the World?

Some of you may have heard of the Anti-Christ as mentioned of in the Bible. As the name implies, this person is one who is the adversary and opposer of Jesus Christ namely Satan. He will be raised up and ultimately end up fighting God in a great war. This deep found support and adoration for the one who opposes God will be virtually universal. It is written in Scripture of the deception of this one to be so "great" that if it were possible to deceive even true Christians (God's elect) Matthew 24:24) it would happen. Scary stuff I think. (see also 1 John 2:22, 2 John 1:7)
God does not reveal who the Anti-Christ is specifically but we do know that many anti-Christs and false teachers are already in the world (those who deny Jesus Christ as Lord). (1 John 2:18 1 John 2:22)

It wasn't long ago that America was scorned, and greatly loathed by many inside the country and out because of war decisions made by George W. Bush. I recently read an article showing worldwide adoration for Mr. Obama and now America. In the story he is being heralded as the president of the world. It is curious to me how now America is so quickly "loved", "adored" and celebrated by the world (not excluding our enemies) all because of one man---Barack Obama. Once again, scary stuff.
My simple point is to note how easy it is for one to rise to power and attain worldwide support as I believe also will be when none other than the Anti-Christ rises.
So watch these things as they are unfolding, things predicted in the Bible, as we see people faint, sing, dance, give homage and praise around the world for Mr. Obama a man who so far is virtually unknown except by God Himself.

Why Barack Obama will win the 2008 Election

There are a few excellent reasons I believe Barack Obama will win in 2008. I do hope I am wrong about this but right now I can't see any other outcome.

First, the media as a whole loves Barack Obama. I think when the media rallies behind a person you can count on that person looking very good to the average voter. When viewers see likability in a person being portrayed through the great influences of movies, newscasts and late-night comedy routines one can't help to start liking who they see.

Second, I believe most people are against God and don' t even have a biblical worldview. They instead have made their own god to fit their own selfish desires. So when one doesn't care what God thinks in much of anything, sin gets picked most every time. I know people won't call it voting for sin and so we'll put on a pink, green, yellow and blue tiara with a dress and give it a more tolerable name like.....let say, tolerance!?
It can be difficult to not vote for sin (in the name of tolerance, acceptance, etc.) and we naturally gravitate to self serving pleasures. The Bible confirms this in that it is written we are all born into sin (Romans 3:23) (sin is doing what doesn't satisfy God's holy standard of perfection seen in His law).
Lets take abortion for example. There are two choices to choose from. One choice is putting the interest of one (the baby) ahead of another (the mother) and not killing a baby. The other choice is choosing "self first"(the mother) and killing the baby because you believe it's the "woman's right".
Gay marriage is similar because it's about doing something to serve "self interest" rather than considering what God thinks about it and seeking to do what He desires seen in His word. Therefore, the candidate who emulates a voter's worldview will get his/her support.

I believe Barack Obama's public worldview resembles more voters who are anti-God and anti-Christ. For this reason alone, Obama will win the election. The Bible says no one seeks after God or understands and because as was already mentioned, we have all sinned against Him it goes without saying that if most people are against God than most will vote for the candidate who makes them feel less guilty about everything. Therefore, without a way higher than ourselves out of this mess, we are indeed doomed and God's anger and wrath against sin abides on us. I do believe that an imperfect person can be a clear example as a candidate for president and able to stand for what is right biblically speaking. This person must be humble and with God's direction and help, could be a decent leader for our country.
The story of John McCain is one of humility and that of a servant's heart. He put his fellow comrades first before his own when he was captured and tortured by enemies. However, Jesus is the complete perfect example of humility and demonstrated how to be a servant and put other's interests ahead of Himself. His ultimate demonstration of this was in His sacrificial death and resurrection for our sin on a cross.
Barack Obama's story however seems quite a bit more obscure and hazy to me. For example, is Barack Obama a Muslim or really something else? There are rumors swirling around the claim of whether or not he is or isn't truly a Muslim but can we say for sure? This uncertainty will surely garner votes for him because right now he appears to be quite appealing for many, many people. Not to forget, he has claimed to be a Christian. However, based on his worldview which is in direct opposition to biblical Christianity, I don't believe he can rightly be called one. Perhaps his REAL faith will come out when all the votes are cast.
Likewise, the world seems to love Obama beyond perhaps even his wildest dreams but most unfortunate---so do Islamic Fundamentalists. And so if anything can be said of these two people McCain and Obama, I think John McCain more closely resembles a Jesus type figure because of his humbleness and self sacrificing attitude while Barack Obama looks a lot like a Barabbas or a King Saul type---they were overwhelmingly the people's choice.

Because I don't believe enough people are excited about John McCain even after the selection of Sarah Palin as his running mate, I think Obama will win. Some people believe McCain is not conservative enough especially when it comes to his views on immigration, global warming, oil drilling and his seemingly great desire to work with democrats and compromise rather than stand up for conservative biblical principles.
John McCain seems to hold to a biblical worldview on moral issues and his demonstration of his servants' heart is not in question. He will get many votes from conservatives and Christians for these reasons but much of his support will be because the alternative is so anti- God. I'd rather like to think a person is chosen because of a candidate's core values and worldview rather than because the opposition is so horrendous as an option. So in the end, I think the lack of excitement for the presidential candidate, not just excitement for the running mate, will only help Barack.

Another reason is that a majority of people hate or have become hateful of George W. Bush. Rightly or wrongly, this loathing of the President by a majority of people will not help John McCain because he and Bush both belong to the same party.

Finally, Obama will win because of his view or lack of understanding on Islam as a grave threat to our existence. I believe most people who will be voting believe like he. They believe that Islam is not a threat to America. They believe it is not a real danger to the world and maybe even deny that a threat truly exists. Along with their hatred of President Bush, these folks think terrorism is something George Bush made up or even caused. As a supporter of the President I will concede that he doesn't completely understand the threat we face in regards to the danger of Islam itself. Indeed it is difficult when the devil is so clever and happens to be the father of lies. So because we as a people don't understand Islam such as it's core desire for mass murder, and call to eradicate the nation of Israel, their goal for world domination and most dangerous of all that anything can be contradictory and yet acceptable under Islamic religious belief (see Islamic Dualism, Dualism, Political Islam), we cannot win against such an enemy without God's help, will and strength.

As I said at the start, I do hope I am wrong about this year.
Jesus said that a house divided against itself cannot stand ((Mathew 12:25, Mark 2:25, Luke 11:17).
When there is more disdain for President Bush and his action on his statement "you are either for us or against us" rather than against true, righteous disdain for true evil, all signs seem to point to an obvious direction voters will be voting.

Opening One Week From Today

Fireproof opens nationwide on Friday the 26th. The movie stars Kirk Cameron (Way of the Master TV/Radio show) as a firefighter in the midst of a marriage on meltdown. Diaper Number 53

I was changing diaper number 53 (or so it seemed) when it came to me, what would it be like to compete in a speed diaper changing competition. Ever considered it? I doubt it because I realize there are more important things to consider like what happens after a person dies and who you hang around with in life but lets have a thought digression for a minute.

Basically the competition could be called, how fast can you change a diaper? You may laugh at the thought or even that I was considering this but what else do you think about when you change a diaper?
If you've never changed a diaper than you'll have to imagine with me for moment. But yes, I've thought about timing it. I wonder if there's a record. Of course it all depends on the type of mustard or tar and the liquid of course.

Then another thought came to me. Barack Obama speaks about change does he not? His slogan I believe is: Change we can Believe in. Maybe his change has something to do with diapers? Perhaps he thinks he wants to change America's diapers. Oh the humanity!
Ok, just a thought.

Anyways, when I change a diaper and I am quite new at it which is probably obvious since I'm writing a blog post about it but you have to ask yourself what's the consistency and texture being dealt with at the time of the change. Many of you already knew this, but texture can be everything when you're changing a diaper. A thicker texture and more of it (greater quantity) would definitely slow a person down during a speed competition. The more liquid and you're dealing with more weight.... I think it would be tough to judge such a competition with so many variables
.
In the mean time, I practice because practice makes perfect. However, there's a balance between getting too fast and not getting sloppy. I doubt I'll ever get too fast though because you want to make sure you actually change your baby's diaper and she isn't going to be laughed at in public on account of a poor diaper change by her father.

Daddy Cares

Ok, so I wasn't going to write a new post just yet but my baby Hailey has been bugging me all morning to write something---anything and since she can't spell quite yet she thought I should go ahead and do it for her. I said ok but then I thought, what do I write about? So I went to the bank and came back with this simple story.

At the bank I saw a younger lady holding her baby as she was walking on the sidewalk not far from where I was standing at the ATM machine. Just then, a man up the block a few hundred feet began hollering and trash began to pour from his from his mouth. One shouldn't be surprised, right? He was pushing a stroller with a 2-3 ish year-old little girl.

The perfect setting for me, a new daddy of a baby girl. Then it happened, the hollering, cussing, anger filled man came to the ATM machine where I had just been seconds before. As he walked closer he ordered the lady (girlfriend, wife?) with the baby in her arms to get him something or do something. It was hard to tell what exactly between all the cussing he was doing. He continued his string of filth words once at the ATM. I couldn't take it anymore so I called attention to his language and especially for the little girl in the stroller. He told me he didn't care. Of course he didn't, but I responded that God does. The little girl was about to cry and I told him I had something for him---it was a million dollar bill tract with information about what happens after a person dies without the God of universe as Lord and Savior. Naturally, the man ignored me after I had told him the cussing mattered to God so I just handed the tract to the girl in the stroller.

Sadly, trash like that comes from people's mouths daily and much, much worse. If it made me feel sad, what must the righteous Judge of the universe think? To see oppression on this earth in any form gives me a glimpse of what Jesus was feeling/thinking at the time of the cross and yet He went to the cross to pay the penalty for sin anyway. Still, I sometimes wonder why God allows the kids to grow up in these environments. I believe God showed me this story today for some reason if not for the simple reminder of how He truly wants His child to raise His children for His glory and honor.

Who IS Barack Obama?

Can we really know who Barack Obama is? What does Mr. Obama truly believe?

I think if we have some idea about what he believes we could understand him a little better. The truth is, we know little about him because he has changed his positions along with his public statements on his positions. Things keep changing and sometimes it's hard to keep up.

First, he sits in a pew for 20 years listening to a preacher who hates Jews and America. Does Mr. Obama hate Jews and America? Mr. Obama says he could no more disown his preacher than he could disown the black community . He let this preacher baptize his kids and perform the marriage ceremony for himself and his wife Michelle. Today, Obama says he disowns his preacher. Tomorrow....

Second, Barack Obama participated in and is linked to the Million Man March with the Nation of Islam's head Louis Farrakhan. Mr. Farrakhan is known for his racist remarks and hatred of Jews and America's white. What does Mr. Obama think?

Third, Obama is pro- abortion, anti- Iraq war and voted against the Federal Marriage Amendment. This amendment would define marriage between a man and women just as marriage is recorded in the Bible.
( The list is longer than simply three views but I believe they do say much about him.)

So to conclude I think we do know a little about Barack Hussein Obama besides just his name. However, these things could change tomorrow including his name.
Do we dare suppose that his changing statements to be an excellent reason why he considers himself to be the candidate of change?

God does not change. He is the same yesterday, today and forever.

The Day to Turn Around

I've written before around this time of year. I've written about Halloween and what this day means to the world and to Christians. I posted that writing on my old website and so I will try to avoid going off on a tangent about the horrors (excuse the pun) of this day. Besides the fact that it's Satan's day of celebration and the fact that many people don't have a clue what kind of satanic junk happens on this day because to them it's just a day to have fun, this day is like any other day. Oh, I forgot to mention the many animal sacrifices which take place by those who have been taken captive by Satan to do his will and the many kids that will die or be abducted because they are wrapped up with other people who are held captive by Satan to do his will and go to drinking parties. These are true horrors of this day and yet many sick things happen every day. This sadly is reality but many of us forget that each day we forget God, neglect prayer, reading our Bible and taking opportunity to fellowship with other Believers, etc. that the devil gets another win in our life. This happens all the time too.

My prayer is that we as Christians get back to fighting the war against the enemy. I speak to myself in writing this because lately the battles have seemed quite heavy and intense. You probably will agree. If you said you agree, I would also hope you would see the need to support each other. We get caught up in this thing called 'life' and pretty soon Satan pulls another fast one on us and before we know what hit us, he strikes again and again and then we're nearly buried. We can't let this happen if we call ourselves Christians.

How often do you ask yourself, if you really trust Christ for everything during everything that is happening whether good or bad? If I say I believe He is the Creator of the Universe and I trust God Almighty to sustain me then why do I neglect His things? Recently, I was reading about Jesus Christ being our Advocate in time of sin etc.. Read 1 John 2; 1 John 4. Think about this---We get to talk to the Creator of the Universe through Jesus Christ who is Lord over all and yet we in many cases are letting Satan have his way in our lives. Something doesn't seem right with this picture. We call upon Christ and call Him Lord and yet we let Satan win the battles. We should be crushing Satan through the supernatural power of the Holy Spirit within us. But we're not.
We're not crushing him because we are getting our eyes on stuff. Life stuff. We're not going after God. We're choosing the stuff we want and the stuff we love in the world instead of what God wants and desires for us. We don't need Halloween to get us distracted. We have each day filled with distractions. Knowing all this, let me borrow a term I recently heard from a presidential candidate that is we need to "be on the offense". We need to go on offense rather than be on defense because than it's probably to late to beat the attack.

Let gets ready for the attack we are going to be confronted with before we're already engaged. When the temptation comes or as I call it--- when the attack arrives, attack back through Christ's supernatural strength in you!
I want to ask that we each pray after you read this. I will pray right now about asking God to revive us to want to please Him and stop pleasing ourselves. Admittedly, I've been struggling with believing in the power of prayer but that doesn't mean I shouldn't be praying before the attack arrives. A command from Scripture is to pray without ceasing. 1 Thessalonians 5:17

Humboldt County (along with the world) is under a great blanket of deception by the power of Satan. But the power of God is ultimately greater.
I've been told an interesting thing. Arcata use to be called Union town and it wasn't about labor unions. The union was referring to the biblical concept of the Godhead (the Trinity)---God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. Apparently, I've been told Arcata had been a vibrant town of Christians.

God is greater than Satan and God wants to use willing vessels to serve Him. Are you willing and ready?

Al Gore Wins a Prize and the World Rejoices

Al Gore wins a Nobel Peace Prize and the politically correct world population rejoices. Mr. Gore won his peace prize for his global indoctrination of man-made climate warming and radical environmentalism infused into the education system. Is what is amazing to me is that Al Gore isn't an expert on weather (aside from his inventions) but many people nevertheless think of him as a god-like champion able to save the earth. More amazing to me, yet admitted it's no surprise that what Al Gore proposes through his Global Warming/Climate change crusade is actually, on the surface, the opposite of what human beings innately believe.

Here is why this is true: We are a sin loving people and we want to do what is right in our own eyes as is recorded in the Bible. Since we are pride filled humans at birth we naturally rebel against rules. We do not want a higher power to be outside of ourselves to tell us we are not the master of our own destiny and what to think, believe or obey. This higher power outside of ourselves is the key point.

So guess what? The Global warming crowd with Mr. Gore as their earthly leader come up with some rules for you to follow to make you seemingly feel good and important. First, you must believe you are destroying the planet and so there must be put in place, some things you are going to get to do to "save the planet". In fact you must be told how to think and believe about everything. Mr. Gore's church of global warming tells us through the mass media machine, you and I have the power to save the planet but only after you do many things the "church" deems most necessary. The standard is made up.

You must get different computers, use alternative energy sources whether it works or not. Get new "special" light bulbs, stop burning your trash, smoking is ok, smoking marijuana is ok, everything you have must be recycled except cutting down trees because trees are part of the earth we are trying to "save", use plastic, use paper, stop using plastic, stop using paper, don't drink and drive, stop driving, walk only, running might be ok but hold off until further research is done, eat organic, don't eat the worms, save the bugs, don't run, don't drive the kind of car you drive, ride a bike, don't ride just any bike but get a Gore approved "eco-friendly" bike, do the same with your car. Save everything including whales. Discard human babies should they become inconvenient. Remove God from everything, start by removing the word God from "God's word"( the Bible). Stop teaching God's word but respect other books.
Don't believe the Ten Commandments are God's standard of perfection, believe us instead, stop praying in public, stop praying to Jesus Christ, don't believe Jesus Christ is God, don't believe Jesus Christ is the only to Heaven. Don't believe Jesus is God and fullfilled the perfect standard of the Ten Commandments. Question the resurrection. Religion is ok, worship any gods which make you feel most comfortable---you get to choose.
Don't worship the God of the Bible, instead worship the earth, believe in human evolution, don't believe God created the world (God has been removed remember?), drink pure bottled water, drinking alcohol is ok, getting drunk is ok, don't use Hitler's or Muhammad's name as a cuss word, it's ok to take the name of the Lord Jesus in vain, respect the god of Islam and Muhammad, question everything but do all that we at the "church of global warming and evolution" have decided for you without God.

All of this may seem somewhat contradictory to the view of "doing what is right in one's own eyes" but it's not. You see, what Al Gore's church is teaching is that by attempting to keep Jesus Christ as Lord out of your life, you keep his and your comfort gods in. You likewise fulfill his mission and purpose of existence.
He is promoting the old idea that if it could be possible that we as mere human beings were in fact in control of anything and everything, then we would truly be master of our futures and the God of the Bible would not have to be worshiped as Creator and Lord of all. Jesus Christ wouldn't be the Master but we would be. The world is not a stranger to this fact whether it will publicly admit it or not.

The reason? Satan who controls them is their god. (2 Cor. 4:4, 1 John 4:3, 2 John 1:7) He is disguised in many forms---from the many gods in world religions to Religion itself yet he ultimately is going to face God and be defeated. Satan would love nothing more than to see everyone and anyone do and think anything except believe in the only One who must be given praise and worshipped. He who IS Lord of lords and King of kings--- the Lord Jesus Christ.



(Important note: The Christian's duty is to be a good steward of the earth. We do not have the power to destroy or save the planet because God is the One in control and the One over all things---whether destroyed or made new.

The Condescension and Arrogance of those who Hate God

A simple example of righteousness under attack is what can be seen happening more and more each day in government in the mainstream media. American conservatives Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity and Micheal Savage are all under constant attack by the liberal left for having many Biblical based views. This past week, Rush Limbaugh has been falsely accused in the United States Congress and Senate because he has openly supported the troops and has referred to the Democrat party as a defeatist party and anti patriotic in the past. Rush Limbaugh has discussed openly his love for our country's foundation on Christian values, support of the troops, the war effort in fighting terrorism and his personal Conservative Christian values. He openly talks about the condescending, arrogant attitudes of those who do not believe in the Creator God of the Bible. This point alone I believe hits liberals and all non Christians hardest.

To believe in someone bigger than ourselves, one in whom we are ultimately accountable to goes against everything a sinner's pride believes to be true. We want to be as Satan said in the Garden of Eden "like god" and more importantly god and master of our own destiny. The un repentant sinner in fact doesn't even want to be called a "sinner" but rather do what Israel did in Judges 21:5--- 'everyone did what was right in their own eyes.' The Word of God the Bible, flies in the face of such earthly philosophy and speaks directly to the pride of the human heart and says: No, you are not god but you must worship the one true God, Creator and Maker of life through Jesus Christ because He is Lord of lords and King of kings. (1 Timothy 6:15-16, Revelation 19:16) (Deuteronomy 12:8)

If Christian conservative values being discussed on the public airways are come under attack by those on the left, I believe that there would be a great popular demand for Jesus Christ Himself to be re tried, re accused without cause and re murdered should He return upon the earth today.
This is an awful truth for Christians to realize, but it is something I believe all true Christians who love the Lord Jesus Christ should and will recognize. We should, if we haven't been already, willing to stand up against the evil which is continually vomited out of the mouth of those who publicly and secretly hate God and righteousness. We should do as the scripture say: to 'expose them' (Ephesians 5:11). Jesus said we would be hated because of His name.(Luke 21:17) And since we ARE hated, imagine the hatred for Christ even to death. (John 15:18)

The times we live seem chaotic at times but God is using the events of the day for His ultimate glory. Let us each pray for this country and not stop proclaiming the Gospel of Christ which is the only hope this world has before Judgment day arrives.

My Favorite Reason for Using the Law in Evangelism

Today some friends of mine and I went to Humboldt State University to warn any who would be listening about a coming judgment for our sin against a holy God. These guys who preached, in my opinion, are bold as bold can get. It is a wonderful thing to be able to share God's love with the world and in a way people can truly understand. I'm not talking about Christian-eze speak or some "church" language even though I fall into that I think. We need to be told or reminded should we lose people in our words.
Many of you are familiar with the method of using the Law to lay down a foundation for the Gospel of Jesus Christ. For those of you who might not be---we use the Ten Commandments (God's Mosaic Law) to help the audience visualize and understand their guilt before a Holy God. This will make the "why" for Jesus Christ's sacrifice on a cross and resurrection make sense or at least it should, when it is explained correctly.
This law or standard causes us all to understand, even if the tiniest bit just how holy God truly is. We use the law like a mirror to see the dirt in our life. We ask people if they've ever lied, lusted, stolen, or might have put anything in their life ahead of God which is called idolatry. That covers just about everyone on the planet including true Christians.

Here's what I enjoy the most about using the law in evangelism: With it, people can actually get a sense what it must be like to live a holy, perfect life. People can understand that if you can live out the Ten Commandments in their entirety, you must be a perfect person. Who has done that? Did you know someone actually has been able to live that perfect life? Only one person.
Jesus Christ is the only perfect man to walk the earth. He never sinned. Therefore, He is the only person to fulfill the law or standard God requires to enter His holy place. This is because He, Jesus Christ is truly God. Jesus said, He and His Father were One. The Jews killed Him because of His claim to be God. This would be blasphemy if weren't the truth. Either Jesus IS God as He claims or He's a liar and you are satisfied to call God a liar by believing that.
Jesus died and paid the penalty for sin when He was crucified on the cross. He rose again the third day as He promised and lives Heaven. Now, here's the best part, because He is God manifest in the flesh, and because of His righteousness and perfection we now have a way to gain access to Heaven and have relationship with God. Jesus a said, I am the Way the Truth and the Life. No one can come to the Father except through Himself. ( John 14:6)

Simply put your trust in Christ as your Savior, the only Savior, for your sins and repent (turn from your sin). Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and you will be saved. (see Luke 11:9, John 3:16, John 14:21)

A Note to those who are true Christians:
If you are a believer and are not doing something to help spread the Gospel I want to encourage you to somehow and someway become actively involved with ministry to share the Gospel. God wants to use you for His purpose---to glorify Him in it. People are dying each minute and going to Hell. For this fact alone, I don't see why we wouldn't feel the intense need to be warning people of the wrath to come even if it's simply to help pass out tracts or pray with someone who's not saved. It's no small thing even if you only want to show your support through your presence with others who are spreading the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ. Thank you for your prayers and support.

What If...? (A Warning)

Most already know what liberals, Bush haters and God haters think about the attacks on 9-11-01.
Here's a quick reminder for those who don't: Bush lied about weapons of mass destruction.
The attacks in America really where orchestrated and planned by President Bush himself.
They deny the existence of evil coming out of the religion of Islam because they believe Islam is a religion of peace.
They believe true terrorists are those who trust in and love the God of the Bible---God Almighty.
They believe because Evolution is universally excepted in the mainstream, God is a liar because He isn't the Creator of the Universe.

I have thought-provoking questions for any person who's beliefs align with what I mentioned above.

What if in fact Bush hasn't lied about the WMD's?
What if the terrorist threat from Iraq other Islamic control countries really exits?
What if we were in fact attacked on American soil by Islamic fundamentalists and it wasn't our own government who was behind it?
What if evil truly exists and it isn't actually because of President George W. Bush?
What if people really do want to murder and chop off heads for not converting to the religion of Islam?
What if it is true that they would love nothing more than to murder those who have put their trust in none other than Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior from wrath to come?
What if God is Holy and Perfect and Righteous and demands Justice for every evil thing?
What if this same God, because of His perfection and goodness must punish sin wherever it is found?
What if all liars, thieves, adulterers, sexually immoral, blasphemers, murders, idolaters and all sinners will be judged for sin by a Holy, Perfect, Righteous, Loving God of Justice and Mercy who can't have sin in His presence?
What if there is in fact a coming Judgment Day, as is proclaimed in the Bible, when all people everywhere will have to give an account to God for what they have done with Jesus Christ in their life?
What if Hell does in fact exist as a place of eternal punishment for lawbreakers and sinners?
What if there truly is a way to escape it?
What if it is true that Jesus Christ wasn't crazy when He claimed to be God manifest in the flesh?
What if it is only through Him that one can enter Heaven?
What if it is true that it is only through a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, the only perfect, sinless sacrifice that one can escape the wrath to come?

Summer Reminder Time

Once again it's that time again. What time is that you ask? It's time to remind people during this time where the summer heat burns skin and causes a mad dash for the indoor air-conditioning, some places still don't get so hot. The Humboldt Bay area is just that place. Let me check, mid-day temp is around 65 degrees although records have been broken recently with high's of 70!
I want you all who are reading this while trying to keep an even body temp to know you're welcome to stop on by to cool off and enjoy the cold sea air.

The Double-Standard Gets a Fresh Look

I have decided to make a post specifically involving this video because of the relevancy it has as it relates to our current time and because of constant attacks against our current President George W. Bush for supposedly lying to go to war in Iraq.

The video clip is Al Gore speaking in 1992 about Iraq, it's ties to terrorists and Saddam's possession of weapons of mass destruction (WMDs). This speech takes place after the gulf war is over. Al Gore is criticizing then President Bush Sr. for not completely doing something about the Iraq threat with Saddam still in power. The video is just over 9 minutes.

After viewing much of the video, my only question is if Bush lied about an Iraq threat, WMD's, and the terrorist threat, etc. then what is Al Gore talking about?
