If you know me, you'll understand this even better. I'm the type of person who enjoys keeping as low a profile as I can, and at all costs. I don't enjoy "calling attention" to myself in a public manner for whatever reason. I think all would agree I am not the one considered the "life of the party", although sometimes a party pooper... (but that’s another topic for another time). In general, it would be completely out of character for me to be talking loudly in a crowded restaurant, screaming loudly at a baseball game, or driving in a vehicle which wakes up the neighbors at 12 in the morning because some guy has a hole in his muffler!
Ok, so now you have a general picture of the scene. I drive around with an extremely awesomely sounding truck that makes random gunshot sounds and moans. The hole in the muffler isn't even that big of one but nevertheless, I want to offer apologies to any and all that may live along the route I drive each day. However, I must warn you...I'm getting quite comfortable with the sounds my truck makes. I imagine I'm flying....aaahhh...driving a single engine Cessna two-seater. I just need to find a pair of noise reduction headsets you've seen pilots wear.....then just maybe I can talk to air traffic control! Roger that...

Funny post honey! I wonder where you were sitting when you first came up with the topic for this blog?? :)
And if I was next to you or not. Sometimes its hard to think if you have noise all around you.
Or sometimes its even hard to teach when one has noise all around them :)
Saw a funny comercial tonight. A guy was in the front of a room, and was teaching how buying lottery tickets was not a wise business investment. All of a sudden these laser lights are on his projector screen. He turns around to these chimps in suits laughing!! Another chimp does something funny as the teacher turns to continue the lecture, and the whole class starts laughing again! By this time, I'm laughing, because this seemed like one of my classes today!!
I admit, I have no clue what the advertisement was for. Or also, why I typed so much in this comment. :) I do know that, your truck needs a new muffler badly... and I need to pray about how the Lord would want me to handle those chimpanze moments in my classroom :)
A cheerful heart is like good medicine (Proverbs)... And as Ken Davis would say, oh dear, I forget what it is exactly. It is something about laughing and living :D
Wait, here it is... "Lighten up and live."
Don't worry, pray.
Hey timmy, I would not fix your muffler until you find out what is causing the gunshot sounds. It sounds like it is back firing and that could be what caused the hole in your muffler. Unburned gas can ignite in the exhaust system and blow a hole in it. You should have someone check the egr valve or the timing or somthing. There is no point in buying two mufflers.
Listen to Danny, he knows what he is talking about! He is good with cars. But I guess you already knew that. Take courage you'll get through this car trouble time. Our van is sitting in front of our house with a sick transmission.
