We Still Need to tell Kirk Cameron

It's amazing how these little web log things work. You sit at the computer and face a brightly lit screen and type on a board-like contraption complete with lettered buttons--- letters which one uses to form words that appear on the brightly lit screen within a message box. At some point you publish your polished written piece of work to the internet so others can view what you've written---all of which is outputted to a message box on brightly lit screens. But the point I want to make is that it's funny how when you need a minister to perform a wedding ceremony they're hard to find for various reasons.

I know, I know you're probably thinking it's because the wedding is planned during wintertime (Dec 30th) and it's during a common vacation time, (something about Christmas and New Years I've heard), and it's deep in the heart of tundra-land (South Dakota) away from major transportation hubs. But thankfully people still do love us and I've been told, would love to marry us otherwise. I know this to be true because those who have been asked have said they would love to but it's a bad time. I think it's a wonderful time especially since it's kind of fun to think big and....daring. Especially because to those who know me best, the word daring probably isn't the word they think of when my name comes to mind. And that's ok. I still love you too. To those of you who do think of me as a 'daring adventurous kinda fella".... you're entitled to your opinions as well.

The point is that when one looks for a minister/pastor to perform a wedding ceremony it's important to Reada and I that he be a friend of ours and will present a clear Gospel. Reada and I agree that we won't agree on everything but we do agree that we want people to know why they need a Savior. We want the message of Jesus of Christ to be plainly presented on our wedding day no matter how much snow is falling or how cold it gets outside. This should be both exciting and interesting for us and all those, God willing, who plan to attend my mini-mega wedding. Oh, and bring your sleds!

Verse for Today's Post: Therefore we do not lose heart, even though our outward man is perishing, yet the inward man is being renewed day by day. For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, is working for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory.
2 Corinthians 4:16-17 NKJV

You know, for some one with your creativity recycling a title should be a no-no. JK. I hope you are doing well, and wish you both the best.
