Pie day
I am not one to get up at 6 am to enjoy it, let alone to bake. Getting up is enough trouble for me at anytime. However, today my girlfriend did just that bright and early and she truly enjoyed it. There was fresh snow on the ground and a crisp blue morning sky but that wasn't the reason she was excited. You see, today is March 14 which makes it "pie day". As a math teacher and being the brilliantly, creative-inventive person she is, she wanted to make a pie for her students to commorate such a day with her own sweet formula: apple pie 3.14. Now if there is any left when I get up....ok maybe next time.

That sounds like a good idea. I bet her students will like it.
I've been sick for a while with this icky morning sickness. It bites. It's been lasting almost all day.

PI Day was fun... Getting up early was alright, but I needed a nap in the afternoon. :)

That is on a poster in my classroom. Some of the students tried to memorize as many digits of PI that they could. One year, I had a student memorize the whole list that is on the poster. He messed up on one number towards the end, but otherwise he was awesome!
